Supplemental Information

Indication
  • Edentulous patients seeking improved retention and stability compared to conventional dentures
  • Patients with 2 or more implants who prefer a removable solution
  • Cases where hygiene access and ease of maintenance are priorities
  • Patients unable to restore with fixed full-arch prosthesis due to anatomical or financial limitations
Contraindications
  • Patients unwilling or unable to remove and clean the prosthesis daily
  • Severe parafunctional habits without protective appliance
  • Inadequate implant positioning or insufficient restorative space
  • Patients desiring a fully fixed, non-removable restoration
Restorative Space Requirement​
  • Minimum 8–10 mm vertical space from implant platform to occlusal plane​
  • Additional clearance may be required based on attachment height and denture base thickness​
Implant Angulation​
  • Locator attachments can typically accommodate up to 20° divergence per implant​
  • Extended range inserts available for greater angulation correction​
Service Options​
  • Full-Service (Lab Pickup): Laboratory processes and picks up Locator attachments into the overdenture. Prosthesis is delivered fully completed and ready for insertion
  • Denture-Only Service (Chairside Pickup): Laboratory fabricates the overdenture with pre-formed attachment housings/relief spaces. Clinician performs final pickup of Locator attachments chairside using resin
